Plenty of organizations teach AI, fund founders, or build community. Few do these simultaneously with a method that produces people who are still building twenty years later. Three things make ours work.
Every Technovation team picks a problem they see in their own community and builds a working prototype to solve it. That is also why the community trusts what we do. We run programs in 160 countries with local schools and nonprofits, many of which exist in rural and underserved areas. Communities trust a program when they watch their own children use it to solve something local.
A 12-year-old building an AI prototype today can come back at 22 for the AI Ventures Accelerator and return at thirty as a mentor. We are committed to the full lifecycle of a participant, not just their entry point.
The mentors travel that arc, too. 80,000 professionals have learned AI alongside our participants by teaching them. They gain a level of hands-on AI experience that internal employee training programs do not produce.
Tech tools evolve quickly, so our focus is on building skills like complex systems thinking, resilience and the courage to innovate. We taught teams to build mobile apps in 2010 and have been incorporating AI since 2016. No matter what tech trend emerges next, our builders are first adopters who can think critically about how to apply it to make the world better.
