Scoutbot Waterguardian is a wearable device that uses an image analysis algorithm to determine if a swimmer is safe. To train their model, the team collected data from people wearing their prototype while underwater. If a person is at risk, the prototype will send a signal to a device that emits a red light.

It obtains your location in real time, and if something happens – for example, if you stop or you are moving away from your destination – it asks you if you are okay. If you aren't, it calls an emergency contact or emergency services (112), depending on the option selected by the user.

An assistive technology for people with visual impairments. Using image recognition software, A10 is trained to alert users if they are about to take the wrong medication. A10 can also notify an emergency contact if a medication is not taken within a specified window.

A tool to help users improve their recycling habits by alleviating confusion. Recylator uses a camera to analyze waste materials against its database, and then flashes one of its 5 colored LED lights, indicating what category the recyclable material falls under.
