    • Every person is entitled to a clean and healthy environment, but the government in Nakuru county is struggling with the challenge of waste management and increasing waste levels. Beyond the Bin helps users sort their garbage properly and then request garbage collection. It also provides recycling tips, and has a market for users to sell and purchase items to give them a new life.

    • United States

    • Go Girl is a gamified representation of the real issues many girls around the world face. Players must get to school on time by avoiding obstacles that cost time and collecting prizes that award more time. Obstacles include diapers and dresses, meant to symbolize unwanted pregnancy and forced marriage, and the prizes are graduation hats.

    • 4Refugee was developed to help the 21.3 million refugees who come to America assimilate and promote peace in their new communities. 4Refugee provides basic information on jobs, transportation, food and culture, as well as basic English language lessons. 4Refugee helps refugees kick-start their new life in a new country.

    • Dementia Care Companion

    • Hong Kong SAR China

    • Dementia Care Companion provides personalized trainings to dementia patients through interactive games and helps them maintain their abilities to interact with loved ones. There is a corresponding family app which allows the family members to monitor the progress of the patient through reading game statistics and includes a location tracker.
