Sarah Chavez

Director of Development

Sarah Chavez is Director of Development at Technovation, where she leads fundraising efforts to expand opportunities for young people through technology. A nonprofit leader, fundraiser, and technologist, she brings more than 15 years of experience strengthening mission-driven organizations. Before joining Technovation, Sarah held leadership roles at workforce development nonprofits. She later spent three years as a software engineer. She is particularly interested in the intersection of technology, opportunity, and social impact, and she brings strategic thinking, fundraising expertise, technical fluency, and a deep commitment to helping organizations turn ambitious ideas into meaningful results. Sarah holds a Master of International Affairs from UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy and a B.A. in Philosophy and French from UCLA.
