We teach a builder mindset.

Most AI education stops at tool training. Our free, standards-aligned curriculum has students build real solutions to real problems in their own communities, gaining the kind of skills that outlast any single tool.

Bring Technovation to your students

You don't have to overhaul your year to begin.

Start with the time you have. Technovation curriculum is 100% free, engages ages 8-18, and can adapt to your classroom, schedule, and standards.

Time: 4 to 5 hours

Technovation Spark

Best for: Seeing whether this fits your group before you commit to more.

Spark is the curiosity-first starter curriculum focused on problem identification and ideation, and it runs in about a week of class time. Use it to test the waters or run a short unit that stands on its own.

Time: 30+ hours

Technovation Challenge

Best for: A semester, a full unit, or a club that wants to make something real.

Technovation Challenge takes students from ideation all the way to a working project. If they want to, they can enter it into our global competition.

*NEW* for our 2027 season:

It's easier than ever to compete in the Technovation Challenge. We're introducing a co-ed track that allows all students regardless of gender to submit their projects to our global competition.

Standards alignment

Field tested and standard aligned to fit your classroom

Our curriculum development is grounded in longitudinal impact studies, continuous educator feedback, and learning science research. It also aligns with key educational standards and frameworks:

ISTE Standards for Students
UNESCO AI Competency Framework
Select US state standards
See the alignments for Texas, Ohio Computer Science, Ohio Business Administrative Services, and Pennsylvania, with more on the way.
Presidential AI Challenge
The curriculum's structure maps directly to each challenge requirement, so students are set up to meet them. Explore the challenge →

From the educators running it

“This year, my students are building apps designed to serve their own school community, one to improve attendance tracking, one to reduce crowding in student support classrooms, and one to help students discover and join school clubs. These are real products for real users, and the students building them know it.”
– Kali L., High School teacher
“This reignited my passion for innovation in the classroom. As an educator, it gave me the tools, confidence, and inspiration to bring AI and coding to life for my students in meaningful ways. I’m excited to launch student-led projects that connect technology to real-world issues, and show my students that their ideas can truly make an impact.”
– Lisa M., K-8th Grade educator
“Before this experience, I viewed coding and AI as intimidating subjects that belonged solely in computer science classrooms. Now I see them as powerful tools that can enhance learning across all disciplines, especially in my ELAR classroom…This project will address our state’s Creativity and Innovation TEKS while strengthening reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.”
– Talia K., 6th Grade teacher

What our students build

A 12-year-old from North Carolina built the Natural Disaster Rescue Assistant, a web app that creates personalized escape plans for emergencies like earthquakes, floods, and wildfires. Watching communities across the country get hit by disasters, they decided to make something useful. Using tools including mapping services and AI, she combined live data with clear guidance to make emergency response faster and easier to follow.
