Michele Simard

Senior Accountant

Michele Simard is our Senior Accountant, leading the organization's financial reporting, budgeting, and planning. She prepares monthly financial reports, manages budget-to-actual analysis across departments, and forecasts cash flow and financial runway for leadership and the Board. She also coordinates the annual audit and works closely with fundraising staff to ensure grant funds are used appropriately and revenue is accurately projected. In 2025, she earned her Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) certification. Outside the office, Michele enjoys astrophotography, watching the wildlife in her backyard, and dog agility training.
