2026 Technovation Challenge Finalists

Thirty-three teams from 24 countries advanced in the 2026 Technovation Girls season. Meet the Finalists heading to the World Summit in Bengaluru, the Regional Honorees, and the Special Award winners.

Thirty-three teams from 24 countries have advanced in the 2026 Technovation Girls season. Fifteen are Finalists, headed to the final round of competition at the in-person World Summit in Bengaluru, India in October 2026. Fifteen more are Regional Honorees, recognized as the strongest teams from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Three took home Special Awards.

What stands out this season is how specific the problems are. These are not general-purpose apps. A team in Kazakhstan built a monitoring system for underground mining hazards. A team in Morocco built sensors that catch decay at archaeological sites before it becomes irreversible. A team in Canada built a tool that saves what Indian grandparents share on WhatsApp and translates it, so family stories survive. Every one of these started with a girl looking at something broken in her own community.

Team videos are added as we receive permission from teams.
