    • Pakistan

    • A mobile app that keeps children safe from kidnapping. Anti Child Abduction Mobile App uses data from motion sensors, GPS information, and previous location patterns collected from a child's phone. When the child's position differs from those patterns, the tool alerts parents their child may be in danger. (Inspired by a local event in the family's neighborhood.)

    • Kuwait Birds Tracker

    • Kuwait

    • Kuwait Birds Tracker helps protect local endangered bird species. Users take pictures of birds, and using image-recognition tools, KBT identifies the bird and suggests tips for keeping it safe.

    • Spain

    • An assistive technology for people with visual impairments. Using image recognition software, A10 is trained to alert users if they are about to take the wrong medication. A10 can also notify an emergency contact if a medication is not taken within a specified window.

    • Palestinian Territories

    • An assistive technology for people with speech impairments. Users record themselves saying a word in English or Arabic. Then Talk & Trust analyzes the recording against its library of recordings of other pronunciations and displays the word in text.

    • My Ouch

    • United States

    • A tool for monitoring a person's health and pain levels. My Ouch has temperature, pulse and moisture sensors that gather data about a person's health. The app uses this data to predict the level of care a person may need and alert an emergency contact if necessary.

    • Pakistan

    • A tool to reduce irresponsibly disposed-of chemical waste from industrial businesses. Users enter data about temperature, volume, and concentration into Trashnovator which uses its AI model to recommend the best disposal technique.
