The Opportunity:

We are seeking an organized and tech-savvy individual to support the Technovation Marketing team by managing and maintaining the team’s operational and project management tools.

The Marketing Operations Specialist will help keep the Marketing team organized by optimizing workflows, supporting website and event production and maintaining digital spaces to collect and organize data and stories. The Marketing Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Content Strategy, and will also work closely with the fundraising and programs team.

About Technovation:

Technovation is the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls.

Our mission is to empower girls, especially those from underrepresented communities, to develop problem solving skills, self-efficacy, and financial capacity, critical to them becoming leaders and changemakers in their communities.

Through Technovation, girls work in teams supported by mentors to develop mobile & AI based solutions to problems in their communities. Over the past 15 years we have engaged ~350,000 participants across 120+ countries.

What will the work be:

  • Support and maintain Technovation’s websites
    • Work in WordPress to create and edit posts and pages, support re-classification of content, and manage media files
    • Work on blogs (format and publish new posts; update/reformat older posts; adjust categories/tags)
    • Assist with backend management and updating of various company websites and website plug-ins
  • Manage Marketing Team project calendar and associated tasks in project management tool
  • Organize and optimize marketing technology stack and data so campaigns can be executed and tracked more efficiently. These tools include:
    • Salesforce / Pardot
    • MailChimp
    • WordPress
    • Asana
    • Google Suite
  • Manage CRM activities including report generation, lead input, database/lead management, campaign list development and management.
  • Coordinate distribution of email campaigns with special focus on personalization and segmentation strategy
  • Manage a new alumnae and volunteer online community tool to create connections among users, and support marketing’s story-telling needs.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3-4 years experience
  • Experience with some or all of the above mentioned marketing tech tools
  • Strong communication skills (able to clearly communicate questions and comfortable receiving constructive feedback)
  • Desire to learn fast, self-motivated and organized
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented
